the real story of Santa Claus dates back to the 3rd century, when a man named Saint Nicholas became the saint of children.

that  monk named Saint Nicholas was born in present-day Turkey around 280 AD. Historians say he was respected for his kindness and faith. 

He donated his inheritance and traveled across the country to help the poor and sick. he gradually became the object of legends and his fame spread 

St. Nicholas was famous for his habit of giving gifts freely, which led to the current model of Santa Claus and his gifts to children.

His fame spread and Saint Nicholas became known as the protector of children. His feast day is followed by his death on December 6.

Saint Nicholas is celebrated today as the patron saint of sailors, fishermen, ships and shipping also. 

The Eastern Orthodox Church commemorates him at least seven days a year, including the day of his death on December 1. 6Th Church has also established St. Nicholas Cathedral in Kuo

Even after the Protestant Reformation, St. Nicholas' reputation remained impeccable, especially in the Netherlands
