Takeoff: Migos rapper Migos shot dead in Houston aged 28 

02.Migos are one of the most influential groups of their generation, pioneering the rap style with a jerky triplet called "Migos Flow". 

The group, which broke up earlier this year, has released several international hits, including Bad and Boujee, Versace and Walk It Talk It. 

American rapper Takeoff of number one band Migos was shot and killed in Houston, Texas at the age of 28. 

The star died Tuesday in a bowling alley with his uncle and friend Quavo.  It has not been confirmed that Quavo was also injured in the incident 

The shooting occurred from the balcony outside 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley around 2:30 a.m. local time (0730 GMT) 

Police say someone opened fire when 40 to 50 guests attended a private party. People watching in the area heard gunshots, but did not know who had fired. 

Upon arrival, officers said they found several people and a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to his head and neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
