On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Detroit Lions by a large margin, but it probably cost something.
The Cowboys worry that cornerback Jourdan Lewis sustained a lisfranc injury when making an interception in the fourth quarter, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.
Cornerback Jourdan Lewis is thought to have had a lisfranc foot injury while making an interception during the game, according to ESPN Cowboys source Todd Archer.
Lewis will have more examinations to confirm the damage before most likely undergoing surgery.
Jared Goff attempted to leave the field before he collapsed after Lewis intercepted his throw.
Before being carried to the locker room, he required assistance getting to the sideline.
If more testing reveal the damage, it would be a significant setback for the Cowboys.
This season, Lewis has participated in five games and totaled up 23 total tackles, 16 of which were solo, one sack, and one interception.
